Northside Partnership’s Education team is delighted to announce that the Apprenticeship Fair 2025 will take place on 25th March in Northside Civic Centre, Bunratty Road.

Following hugely successful, booked-out events in 2023 and 2024, over 20 employers are returning to the northside to speak to potential apprentices about the opportunities available.

Apprenticeships allow participants to earn while they learn, without student loans or fees – and they are proving an increasingly popular way to continue in education without going to college.

Structured training programmes allow apprentices work towards a qualification and gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Apprenticeship schemes provide hands-on training and experience and help apprentices become confident in the work environment.

“The past two years have been fully booked,” according to Paul Hayes, Education Coordinator with Northside Partnership. “Visitors were delighted with the information they received. It was a fantastic recruitment opportunity for employers and education providers to meet potential apprentices face-to-face. There are many different routes that people can take to continue in, or return to employment and training. Northside Partnership’s Apprenticeship Fair 2025 gives them a great taste of what’s available.”

There are now hundreds of types of apprenticeships schemes from fields as diverse as construction to accountancy and mechanics to business.

Apprenticeship Fair 2025 takes place between 10.00a.m.-2.00pm. Tickets are free, but must be prebooked for one of the 30-minute time slots. They can be booked online HERE.

A wide range of employers and education providers will attend the fair across all fields of employment, including aviation, technology, catering, engineering, healthcare, finance and hospitality. Employers and training providers will highlight a vast array of programmes available in the locality.
