Northside Partnership Collaborates on Managing Sustainable Home Programme

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) and the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS), in collaboration with the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) and the Northside Partnership, has launched a new course titled “Managing the Sustainable Home.”

This innovative programme, which has been validated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) as a Level 3 Special Purpose Award, aims to enable learners to apply sustainable practices to everyday household management.

The Community Food Club is a 10-week pilot project which aims to provide a sustainable, dependable source of healthy and nutritious food for families and individuals who may be experiencing food poverty.

How does it work?

  • Participants contribute €5 each week receiving up to 12 food items.
  • Participants gain access to a diverse range of healthy food options.
  • Food waste is repurposed (in Partnership with Food Cloud).
